do you ever think about how the kids turned out
of sitcom characters we all used to know and love when we were younger
do you ever think about rachel's little kid from friends
growing up down in the suburbs
when emma grew up and realised he was trans in the early 2000s
and came out to his mom as tom
and told her he was bisexual and trans and he hoped she'd love him anyway
and crossed his fingers and cried over skype to his friends
does rachel think back to her friends who were always queer
does she think about joey and chandler and the time she caught them holding hands
does she think about her ex and his homophobia and how he'd surely react if tom ever came out to him
she says
i love you but don't tell anyone about this okay
your dad would kill me if he ever found out
so just don't tell anyone about this okay
and tom deflates but he says okay
and he doesn't

petrol station confrontation
all across the nation
it's all about the aggravation
and affirmation of creation
petrol station confrontation
cut ties with your blood relations
say screw cooperation
say screw corporations
petrol station confrontation
call that a decimation
take that incineration
read and weep condensed frustration
petrol station confrontation
animal communication
this thing's a self-justification
you are self-annihilation

third eye

take a knife
to the middle of my forehead
make my face
turn red and contorted
patch up the wound
with plasters and stitch thread
when the offender
is cast out and expelled
take out my third eye with a kitchen knife
'cause i'm sick and tired of seeing everything
no need to keep bringing the dead back to life
no need to keep feeling this sting
with a plaster on my face i am walking around town
and all i see around me is the people falling down
i can't see, i don't see the eyes upon their brow
i can't see, i won't see how they're feeling anyhow
blood pours again and suddenly it's dripping down my nose
it pulses out the plasters blasting like a fire hose
the wound is filled it grows again there's nothing i can do
this eye of mine is gonna die as quickly as it grew
take out my third eye with a kitchen knife
'cause i'm sick and tired of seeing everything
no need to keep bringing the dead back to life
no need to keep feeling this sting
it won't go away, it can't go away, it won't go away, it can't go away...
no matter how i cut it out it just keeps coming back
nothing i can do except glare right into the pitch black
at least if i'm forced to view
i know that you are too
